I am an experienced therapist, helping clients with a range of difficulties, providing confidential and professional counselling to adults and young people. I work with people on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period. I understand that deciding to start therapy and explore your thoughts and feelings can be a big step and a difficult process but one that can lead to lasting change in the way that you live your present life, enabling you to live it more freely and fully.

You can either contact me by phone (07502 577397), email or send a message via the Get in Touch form below, however I find it useful to spend a few minutes on the phone to find out who you are and what brings you to counselling. I realise that this is a big step but it is also important that I am the right counsellor for you. We can then arrange a date and time that suits.
I charge £60 per 50 minute session. To arrange an initial consultation with no further obligation please call 07502 577397, email me or send a message via the Get in Touch form below. I look forward to hearing from you.
How long are the sessions and how many will I need?
Sessions are 50 minutes long and are usually held weekly at the same time. Sometimes people come to counselling for a set number of sessions to work on something in particular; alternatively people may come for longer to work on deeper issues.
How much will it cost?
I offer a free brief telephone discussion. The initial consultation costs £60 and lasts around an hour. Thereafter fees are £60 per 50 minute session. If you are not earning and/or are unable to pay the full fee please call 07502 577397 and enquire about the possibility of a reduced fee.
Who is counselling suitable for?
Counselling may be suitable for all kinds of people, men and women of all ages and every stage of life. There may be something in particular you would like to talk about or perhaps a general feeling of unhappiness or unease persists.
What happens after our first meeting?
The initial consultation is different to other counselling sessions in that it gives me the opportunity to find out more about you and what you would like to achieve from the work together. It also gives you the opportunity to talk about the difficulties that you are having and decide whether counselling is the right kind of help for you. It is sometimes possible to have a few sessions before deciding whether to continue.
Where do I come for counselling?
I practice from comfortable consulting rooms in the High Street, in the centre of Tunbridge Wells.
Is there parking?
Yes. There is plenty of parking close by.
